As for non-bar venues - I think it depends on what goes on. If we need a projecter, we go somewhere that can accommodate or provide a projector. I'm not sure if NXNW or Opal Divine's Marina can handle that (it's worth investigating, of course), but there are other locations (up north and not) that can. I know the Austin Perl Mongers have met at the Mangia Pizza on Gracy Farms / Burnet, and I believe their private room has a projection screen (and possibly a projector).
